Can we talk about inclement weather and methods of communication?

In the event of inclement weather, we watch the radar very closely. I promise I will let you know as soon as a call is made to cancel. Sometimes, we do hold off for just a bit in case the weather passes and we can proceed.

If this happens during a meet, the meet may get delayed. Of course we want everyone to be safe, but PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE until we have an official call. You can wait in your car, but please stay there until we make an official decision about the meet. If you leave and we proceed with the meet, it really messes everything up.

I will communicate using this group, email via SwimTopia, and Remind. I have to use all 3 because people check different things.

A few key points: 

• Remind - short & blunt because of limited characters 

• Facebook - lengthier messages but still relatively concise 

• Email (sent via SwimTopia) - may provide even more details
